The 10 oz. Yeti/RTIC lowball cup is an amazing purchase. All week at work it keeps coffee / tea / hot chocolate piping hot for hours, and then on the weekends, it takes good care of bourbon on the rocks. Wide mouth, easy to clean. For desk/home use, not car/travel.

Just in time for the next one, then?

Can confirm. Personally watched guys get wrecked, have the platoon’s “combat lifesavers” rig them up with any recently expired saline, and be out running 4 miles for PT in the morning.

+1 Imperial Tanning Booth

Conscience for what, precisely?

I literally have no idea what the fuck you’re talking about anymore. Enjoy your paranoid schizophrenia, ant-establishment fetishes, wackadoodle conspiracy theories, and projecting your 1% boogeyman bullshit onto random people on Deadspin.

You are the one that referred to them as “flunkies for a rich asshole.” You’re the one that seems to be denigrating their service/hospitality jobs and implying that they need to rise up against the man or something. The attitude you’re projecting smacks of useless, juvenile, “occupy wall street” bullshit.

Are you daft? Just because I’m not in the market for a service and hospitality job doesn’t mean I can’t objectively evaluate the merits of performing such a job for a high-profile billionaire.

Well, that number is different for different people. I (thankfully) have a good career, salary, and benefits. But I bet plenty of service or hospitality professionals would jump at the chance to do something like this for $50-150K (depending on their role), plus benefits, and to get that experience on their resume.

If you can find the salary number that would get me to be on someone’s house staff, the number to get me into a uniform isn’t that much higher.

Does it creep you out that Target employees have to wear red shirts and khakis? Or that a restaurant might mandate black pants and black shoes or whatever?

If you graduated Annapolis, attended BUDS, made Lt. Cmdr. in the Reserves, and had the intelligence, charisma, and managerial instincts to turn yourself into a self-made billionaire... I’d pretty much say... “sure, why not?”

As long as he’s paying for them, I don’t find this really offensive.

I agree; he doesn’t seem the type to suffer affronts to his ego, or deal well in environments where he feels threatened or disrespected. While not a risk with many of his other nominations, well-respected leaders like Mattis have a gravitas and esteemed persona that Mr. Trump, despite his victory, decidedly does not.

Good to hear.

For those wondering:

Their overdeveloped sense of entitlement is trifling and irksome.

Scala and Kolacny Brothers have your jams.

Are we sure Alec Baldwin didn’t just accidentally drop the script from this Saturday’s cold open?

Wings of Fury. Excellent.
