@George Peng: Watch the video again and check the back of the aircraft. I'm sure it provides more propulsion than lift, but still... the classic weakness of a helo isn't there for the bad guys that immediately shoot towards the back half of the bird.

I have enormous respect, admiration, and gratitude for John McCain, his service, and his sacrifice. I don't necessarily think he'd have made a good president, but the man endured things that would break or kill most others, and has served his country honorably.

@rakrakrakrak: I don't disagree with Lombardo, but he didn't answer my concern. I know opening an airway is trained as part of BLS/CPR cert. And I know why they've told untrained folks to not worry about pulses or mouth-mouth.

1. How can they omit the importance of opening the airway? After a couple minutes, you'll just be recirculating stale blood. You don't have to french kiss them, but at least give them the benefit of the compressions creating marginal inhalation/exhalation.
