@PoG: This could be my favorite comment exchange in the entire Univers.

@Maave: "I wrote the letter, father. I wrote Steve Jobs and told him he was a fraud. And then I destroyed all iPhones — I didn't mean to... I just wanted to see how the exploit worked..."
@Danny Sullivan: I think the point you're missing is that condescendingly joking at others' expense is a fundamentally douchebag thing to do.
@Danny Sullivan: My take — your take is immature and lacks empathy.
In a related sidenote, "Angry Brits" is now available in the App Store for $2.99 and a short four-year commitment to her majesty.
Alas, too late to help Big Boy...
This pisses me off for a few reasons:
@Dr. Nemmo: Haha! I don't know, but if you don't spell them with two t's, they'll shock your eyelids!
So a Sealy designer and an Apple engineer walk into a bar...
@ding-dang: Hilarious stuff like this is why I read Giz. Bravo.
@pinshot: Paranoid schizophrenia, while admittedly difficult to spell, does not count as "2 degrees."
@pinshot: LOL. So... are tinfoil hats custom-fitted, or are they one size fits all?
@ohnoitsaspider: I don't necessarily disagree with you. But you're debating policy, not delusionally accusing the western world of manifesting pure evil on the helpless middle east... all for lithium, oil, and the shareholders(?).
@pinshot: I deployed in 2003 not because I'm a sheep, but because I swore an oath.
@junyo: Seriously. I love how the armchair corporals criticize as if they would operate with 100% clarity, icewater in their veins, and never make a mistake.
@pinshot: LOL. Yes. We're the "pure evil" bad guys this time.
@torgreed: I know some folks have gotten it to work, but Apple doesn't support it.
@Dexomega: Maybe they figure that if you haven't been rescued by the time that becomes a problem, you're pretty much done anyway...
@Geckolord: I agree completely. I think some of your critics here are either operating under the mistaken notion that we're all entitled to know everything about what our government does, or they have no idea what the consequences can be when sensitive information gets leaked.
@Bobby T.: Of course releasing them might save lives; it might save the lives of the bad guys whose names are all over the intelligence documents and HVT packages.
