Loved this. I bought the same exact 3tb Seagates in the picture and ripped them open as mentioned in the article to slot in my Drobo. I do a lot of video and really needed the storage, and at the time that was the only economical solution.
Thing is, I really need extra battery which is why I use mophie's case. Yes, it turns my phone into a brick but i prefer functionality over form.
I really have enjoyed this band, and was super bummed when they broke up. I'm glad they're getting a few more plays through sites like this though, it really is such a great album.
Agreed, and agreed with this post in general. I use more tech then the 4 kids living closest to me in my dorm combined, but I don't go around flaunting it. These things are tools, not toys to help me get shit done with school and with my business.
Not a home office, but it's the best I can do. This is my setup in my college dorm room. I do a lot of video/design work so this is the space I came up with. Behind the laptop stand is 14tb hooked up to my Thunderbolt display, complete with bose speakers.
What's the applications?
If that person was an inspiration for you personally in your life but had never said it to them, say it to the ones they've left.
Yeah you're right... I'll correct that
I'm not even going to pretend I know what it's like to do what you've had to do like some of these commentors and say thank you so much for your service. This comment really doesn't do justice to how appreciative I am at least...
My girlfriend and I were having this same conversation at lunch... Like how complicated our perception of time gets if the limit is removed and we lived forever. What if the choice was ours- to live forever and be immortal or live/die naturally? What if one chose to live one way and the other another?
It would be pretty cool if they could embed an HD camera into their helmets, front and rear-facing... If they had a broadcast with no announcers and showed these angles in addition to what coverage is already produced, I couldn't think of a better way to enjoy watching a sport.
Reading both you and Adam's insight I'm finding very useful after reading my first chapter for my college Management Information Systems class. Very true to the both of you.
There's this kid who keeps messaging me on FB fro eons ago in my life that I simply do not have the heart to unfriend... Putting this to use this instant.
For me, it really depends on function. I'd say for the most part though, I'd much rather have most of my apps taken care of with HTML5. It greatly reduces clutter and some apps that are native don't even run that great and aren't really that native (see: Facebook for iOS).
As an Eagle Scout, I thought this was a pretty great list of gear. Since going to college I haven't had the time to hike like I used to, but after developing a passion for film and photography and hitting the books for the first week of school, nothing sounds better right now then being in the back country...
Nerdfighter, reporting in.
Noted, thanks!
I'm in college and am trying to run my own startup while trying to balance my time with class. I'm having a problem staying organized. If you were a full time college student trying to do what I am, what would be some essential advice/software I should know about to help keep me on task and on schedule?
Sharing with buds now... this will surely put them at ease.
