Because there is a predominance of ignorance in the South, and it takes a certain type of Stupid to believe in this bullshit. Not a coincidence that the Bible belt is mostly made up of Southerners. they have been the nation's village idiot for two centuries at least now. Sure, there are indeed smart, rational people

I wonder if there was any significance to the cicada that Marty saw during his dream of him and Jacob playing with the army men. Seemed kind of random just to be thrown in there. Perhaps something to do with the unique life cycle of cicadas?

Just want to point out that Caleb was already coughing as Marty entered the cell block, so I don't know that it had to do with him telling Marty too much.

LOL.

two words: Robert Strong

I object! There is no such thing as "too much bud lying around."

I find it to be one of the better SF shows of the past five years (ORPHAN BLACK superceding it of course), and probably the best Time Travel show I have ever watched.

I do not think it is just a matter of Alec being the one who created time travel machinery. I think Alec Sadler is a (to borrow a term from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series) ta'veren. In the original timeline Sadler was one of the most important and powerful individuals, quite probably THE driving force of the

I really do NOT understand why SyFy and Showcase cannot sync up their broadcast of this show. They HAVE to realise that Canadians and Americans interact on a lot of websites like io9 and want to discuss the show.

Yes, I am watching this show on the Canadian schedule, and no I am not going to give a (significant or substantial) spoiler here. I just want to put this out there on the web NOW before any further episodes get aired via Canada's timetable (in case evidence appears in an upcoming episode, beyond a certain hint already

I have gone back and forth on that spectrum multiple times in my 40 years (which might actually have something to do with my bipolar disorder). Currently, I am stuck in the rut of cynicism and bitterness brought on by the ever increasing political polarization of America, having become angrier and angrier the past few

Tried Googling to figure out exactly who all the editors are for the different pages/sites/blogs within the Gawker family, no real luck. I assume Annalee is the editor for io9, but do you by any chance know where I could find out who the others are? My Google-fu is seriously lacking...

Thank you for the information, didn't know exactly how it all worked. Was under the false assumption Kinja WAS Gawker in some way. Now I know. Again, thank you.

prettyy sure I remember reading here on io9 that Barry Allen is supposed to make one more appearence this season, I think in episode 20.

Seriously, does Kinja NOT have anyone skilled at copy editting? I cannot recall the last time I read an article on any Kinja site that didn't have at least two or three easily spotted and corrected copy errors, whether simple typos or grammatical mistakes.

My biggest disappointment with this episode is that after the news of Thea Queen being kidnapped hit the airwaves Malcolm Merlyn didn't show up in his badassness to kick some ass. From the moment she was kidnapped I expected him to make an appearance, in part to remind us that he is still alive and is her father.

I am always too busy staring at that CUTE AS HELL chin of hers to notice whether her lips move or not.

totally loved ROAR. Was actually my first introduction to Heath Ledger. Still bitter that Sebastian Roache wasn't cast as Roose Bolton though, because he was pretty awesome as Longinus.

I hate you. Your posting needs to end. You are ruining io9.

The Agent Carter One Shot is also on YouTube last I checked.
