Jedikiah is one of the two reasons I still watch the show. The other is Cara of course, totally smitten by those eyes of hers.

One of the things I really liked about THE WAY OF KINGS was that Sanderson had created an entire ecology quite different from those usually seen in fantasy. Normally, alien ecologies are only found in science fiction stories, not fantasy. At first (being a bit of an arachnaphobe) I was a bit weirder out by the…
I think the Reverend's name was given as FLYNN.
When I heard Thea give the artist name on the phone I thought she said Joseph Cooper. Turns out, there is a Joseph Cooper who did DC comics (specifically The Flash). http://www.josephcooperart.com/about/
I suspect (hope) Dean's killing of that guy will be addressed in next week's episode.
Coulson's team only shot at a camera. The guards, though, opened fire after Couslon asked or help. And even AFTER being shot at by the guards, he STILL to resolve it peacefully. The guards just shot at him some more. The team's justification comes from being under fire. The guards got what they deserved at that point.
Yeah, right. Sure. Not like all the other times the team used non lethal force to subdue or stop previous bad guys did their opponents open up with automatic gunfire from cover and in the dark.
Let me ask you; do you think Coulson would start his interactions with these random people by shooting at them when they try asking for help first? No, I don't think he would.
I believe it was SHIELD's explicit nature as not being answerable to any governments (let alone the US government) that had a part to play in the US military not being involved in any capacity with the making of the movie The Avengers, when they had previously cooperated with the studio in the production of the…
The guard's dialogue as the armed themselves made it clear the only thing they were concerned with was these people showing up and not knowing the countersign. They never verbally gave any thought to the people outside being a threat for shooting the camera.
Probably, yes. Especially if they tried to come aboard peacefully first, asking for help as Coulson did. And know what? If Coulson started shooting at them, I would judge them shooting back justified.
Because the dialogue specifically mentioned it was NOT a SHIELD facility. And I would also wager every SHIELD agent knows the name (and probably face) of Coulson, at least those of high enough security level to guard a facility so clandestine that IF it was a SHIELD facility it was off the books as such.
So "just following orders" is a valid excuse now? Pretty sure there were some German and Japanese soldiers who could have used that knowledge back after WWII...
It isn't like Coulson and his team either planted the bombs or detonated them.
Pretty sure even though Fury is the Director, he still answers to a Board or Council.
Don't forget this one life is an 0-8-4 which we already know was important enough that numerous previous SHIELD agents had given their lives to protect and then hide. Skye is in a way a McGuffin, and not just a Maiden in Distress. Not to mention her being a loved one. So, saving her life easily excuses breaking in.
And how "short" do you think that being is? You only see from mid torso up, and even taking perspective into account, looking at the image of it and Coulson above, even that looks impressively large.
Right!
Coulson and company did try doing their business at the Guest House peacefully. They tried talking, but the two guards OPENED FIRE on them. Shooting someone who shoots at you first is hardly murder, and this is coming from someone who DESPISES the use of guns. Those two guards were very cavalier as the tooled up to go…
