Thank you for saying what I’ve been thinking about Carlin. Becoming a bitter, cranky old man seems to be a thing for comedians. I’d add John Cleese and Dennis Miller to the list. Maybe it’s becoming rich and out of touch. Maybe the same “outsider”status that sharpened their comedic chops when they were young comes…
and getting PAID to do so.
Ha!
None!
I honestly don’t know if I never saw the third movie or if I blocked it out. It sounds like I should not try to remedy that.
That’s a shame because the book was genuinely intriguing and inspiring.
Same. Keeping Tennant around (in any way) seems like pandering. Let him go, already.
Even with the stellar cast (minus Glover, who consistently gives me the ick) this looks like rehashed ass. Hard pass.
Slow Horses was great.
I had no interest in Paddington either and both movies were amazing. With this team behind Wonka, I think I’m onboard.

American Fiction looks like fun. I need more Jeffrey Wright in my life.
I like this. I’m stealing it.
IKR??!
It’s really good. I enjoyed it.
TLDR, but apparently Winter Soldier is #1. The rightness of that decision makes any objections I might have irrelevant. Carry on.
The great Gladys Knight sings the theme to License to Kill and it is fabulous! I also think the movie is one of the best of the Bond movies. I also think you need to check out the Craig films, at least Casino Royal and Skyfall.
Agreed
Could we please stop calling SBF a wunderkind and call him what he is, a lying thieving con man?
