@Tyrunn: Its both. Its a comic book thats heavily based in video games culture.

@Shin-Kaiser: I think this might be a factor in the bad numbers. Considering the amount of target audience in these comments alone are "Blah, Michael Cera". I started off the same when I first heard about it, but after the reviews coming out saying he's not his typecast for most of the film, friends telling me how

Warren Ellis' Freakangels. Its free online as a weekly webcomic at [www.freakangels.com] or collected in TPBs.

I'm going to be really interested to see how this does in the UK, since everyone I've spoken to, geek or not is really looking forward to it. Its been mentioned that in the US it went up against The Expendables, and thats not going to be a problem here as there is a two week gap. Plus, its attached to Hot Fuzz and

@LordDisco: Its intended to be alot like RCR since its one of the games the comic specifically parodies alot.

@BebopBlue: When I tried out usenet, I used Supernews. $11.99 (Something like £7.50 for me), unlimited speed and access, 30 connections, SSL. Don't know if anyone heres has any horror stories with them, but my few months with them were pretty decent.

@Rav Gar: For me that honour goes to X-Men 3. Atleast Wolverine was mindlessly entertaining.

@Rav Gar: They're actually retconning that somehow and he's going to be actual Deadpool in his own film.

@Goldwings: My girlfriend watched Nick and Nora last night, and supposedly he plays a very Scott Pilgrim-like character in that, thats made her instantly start believing he can be Scott Pilgrim.

I'm stuck on a 1.5 HTC Hero, been waiting on Orange to release the 2.1 update, but I've since decided when I get my internet back at home I'm rooting it.

@Zapp.Brannigan: I'm glad I'm not the only one slightly freaked out by that picture.

@See you suckers later: He also co-wrote Toy Story before he hit it off with Buffy, so its not all bad.

@tossrStu: Thanks, seen that one but was more curious and confused by Plays pricing. Would stick it down for definite right now if Plays £17.99 Blu-ray pack was the same.

@superberg: Book 2 has the flashback to the Benvie Boys attack, but I can't remember if it specifically mentioned RCR. But yea, essentially the first part of that book was the game.

Fairly confused by Plays listing. They have a collectors edition combi blu-ray pack listed at £17.99 [www.play.com] a DVD collectors edition at £37.99 [www.play.com] but no mention of this, and the Amazon normal Blu-ray version doesn't come with the DVD. And none of the boxart matches with this version.

@Komrade Kayce: The XBLA date works out well for the UK as its the same week of the film release.

@NoizeTank: I'd be suprised if they didn't go with a RCResque game, since the comic alludes to it loads.

@Orionas69: Its not a fact, its an opinion. How you can call Inception mainstream then say Avatar "changed the way you watch films" I'll never know. Avatar was an alright action film that wasn't anything out of the ordinary (I stick by my opinion of it being Dances with Wolves with Aliens).
