Reading this thread forced me to read up on wikia about FF6 and in doing so, I can now tell you that you are 100% right about that. I didn't know I could have just done that method. Nice.

I was also younger when I played FF6, but I suppose you have a valid point being that it was one of your first RPGs to play. It's not like I was smart enough to figure out all the secrets back then as well; first play-throughs are really epic. You never forget your first haha.

Truth be told!!! You really just need 3 for the split group; 1 per group, on the assumption everybody else sucks. Personally, 1 character with that set up is already overkill.

And spending all that time getting the cursed shield is almost not worth it. I'd rather just kill T-rex's or play in the coliseum with that amount of time!

Or equip any high Vigor character with a Genji-glove, offerring, and just 1 set of high-end armor and weapons and call it a day. 9999 x 8. I chose Celes and she was even alone as her own group in Kefka's tower. Everybody else grouped up.

Not entirely true. I'm sure that there will be a big percentage that will be willing to shell out (because they all bought all their other games on cheap sales, therefore buying something like GTAV at premium is justified)

But the cannibis leaf never went generally low; for one reason or another, there is a "legit" exchange of that coveted item. This item can be clearly sold at 3 dollars; there is proof of purchases in the chart; and yet somebody out there WANTS to shell out $179 more.

The possibility of this is very likely. There are many items that have been sold at insane and ludicrous amounts that defy any logic. Something fishy is definitely going on.
