William Russell’s last Big Finish release looks like The Fifth Traveller last October. I hope to find out his retirement from Ian was his choice. I would have liked to see some mention of that in the official announcement.

What’s your favorite story, or type of Doctor Who story? Big Finish have all sorts of formats as well, from full cast audio plays to (basically) audio books. The Companion Chronicles are typically hour long stories with two participants that are downloadable for $7.99; my favorite right now is William Russell (Ian) in

Yes, this is a rather cold take. It was a Steven King made-for-TV adaption, so lots of people watched it, and most everyone remembers a mediocre show with an excellent villain.
