Yeah, but what about Tom Cruise?

I’d guess that footage was him in the back seat of the F/A-18. There’s no way the Navy would let a civilian do that.

Does this mean we’re getting Days of Thunder 2?

Article written about the authors’ discovery that playing the card game Bridge is surprisingly fun and enjoyable.

That boy is thicc

yes, I know what it actually means.  I was riffing on how cavalier people are today about flinging the term at anything that makes them mad.

But.  But.  But then you can brag about it on Facebook and everyone will know how brave and virtuous you are.

“Now that we have honest to goodness fascist, Nazi types in our government, this really is a serious issue.”

Who said these people were right wing? How do you know she isn’t deciding whether or not to serve Bernie Sanders?

Can you define “Fascist” for us? Because it feels like people are using it to mean “Person i dont agree with”.

You know “These people arent welcome in my ideal society and so will be confronted with exclusion, intimidation or violence” is pretty much textbook fascism, right?

Please explain, citing examples, who the “honest to goodness fascist, Nazi types” in our government are, and why.  I’m interested to hear which of our government officials have taken steps to exterminate other races from the face of the earth using death camps and torture.

Currently the Civil Rights act and a handful of other anti-discrimination laws draws the lines. There are certain categories that you aren’t allowed to discriminate based on. Gender and sexual orientation are protected, for now. Political affiliation isn’t.

Employees should respect that decision or resign.

While your distinction is wrong, I think your main point is correct. While I believe there are politicians who deserve to be shunned by society at large, I think they have as much right as anyone to expect respectful service from businesses willing to accept their custom. If the owner of a restaurant wants to refuse

As Leah Chase, Anthony Bourdain, and a host of others have shown us... Food is often what unites us, what can bring us to open and frank discussions. I’ve seen some despicable people and politicians come across my tables. I’ve also seen them come across and share a meal with people I greatly respect who were opposites

Isn’t this a lot like refusing to decorate cakes for occasions you don’t approve of, or refusing to dispense birth control for religious reasons?

Hospitality staff usually are private citizens, unless Mitch McConnell has taken up some strange part time jobs I’m not aware of.

Man I’d love a game in this ultra cluttered, super detailed style. Cyberpunk is interesting when it’s dirty and steeped in the 80s.

Take this with a grain of salt, but I’ve also heard that the danger of salmonella from raw eggs is primarily from the shells. That is supposedly the part of the egg that has salmonella on it, and so long as you crack an egg properly and quickly and the insides to really touch the outside of the shell, then your risk

Maybe I’m just made of stronger stuff than most, but I have eaten quite a bit of raw cookie dough, cake batter, brownie batter (YUM!), etc. through the years, and never suffered any ill effects aside from weight gain.
