Jesus Christ on a crispy cracker... I’d never heard of her before that dinner, and she won my undying love that night. She’s fucking fearless and brutal and that’s the exact sort of comedy/social insight I love and think we need more of. The Right (and a certain Tipper Gore segment of the Left) falling all over itself

“The reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money.

There’s this thing called an expected standard of dress. Anyone who’s worked in a job that required more than “business casual” knows that fancy clothes are often a necessity to be taken seriously, and nowhere is that more true than in high-end public service... like politics. Those kinds of clothing expenses become

I feel like this “liberal elitists out of touch with the common person” angle is just a projection and they don’t actually know what one can afford on a modest salary.

That shoulder bag she’s carrying seems to be leather. You’d think someone who doesn’t have money would carry her things in a plastic Dollar General bag! And look, she’s wearing shoes! For someone who claims to have limited means, having shoes seems like a bit of a luxury.

Balcony people. RISE UP.

Balcony monsters!

Hey you, that’s Beloved Character Actress Margo Martindale! She deserves her full title.

Yes, balcony monsters!!!

Maximum Derek.

What’s up jerks!

I’ve seen this concept play out with a couple conservative friends on Facebook. One week they were posting these finger-wagging memes about how no one has a right not to be offended, and how in an truly free society you will be offended and don’t make a big deal out of it grow a skin stop whining etc etc.... Literally

The funny thing is, if the roles were reversed (Fox News makes fun of Democrat with disability, apologizes the next week and has said Democrat on to give as good as s/he took), conservatives would be HOWLING about how sensitive everyone is and how no one can so much as walk around without offending someone.

I made the mistake of being willing for one milisecond to give this Crenshaw guy the benefit of the doubt, but one look at his Ballotopedia change quickly remedied that. The dude makes multiple references to “radical leftists”, says abortions are evil, that liberals hate free speech and don’t know how guns work so

I heard the guy scoring it is Elvish.

I am very glad they’re finally making this show. Sam Vimes, Fred Colon, Nobby, Carrot, Angua, Detritus, and the rest could make for an amazing series if handled well. I refuse to dampen my enthusiasm based on some BS tag line cooked up by marketing. I sincerely hope the BBC doesn’t bollocks up one of my favorite

Is there any chance that "punk rock" is just a terrible troll pun?

That’s why I’m a fan of Pillboy and Donkey Doug’s Double Trouble, the energy drink/body spray hybrid for the thirsty and smelly bro on the go.
