Yep! I respected the fact that they were immediately like “yeah so Holm just made us look like idiots.”

It sounds like she was a really great person.
The loss of the person is what makes this a tragedy, but I also selfishly wonder what else the world has lost without her future, what she might have done and created.
So many young people were killed. They picked a really popular part of town. Punishing people for having fun, at restaurants, a rock concert, a soccer stadium.
Such a lovely picture of her.
According to TMZ, Selena Gomez is selling her Calabasas mansion after making “numerous” calls to 911. Gomez has…
JADE WAS A BEAUTIFUL BIRACIAL BUTTERFLY (her words but hell, she’s not wrong).
Oh I already tweeze the fuck out of my face. I have a dark ass mustache and chin sprinklings. Thanks latina mom and eastern european father.
Always and forever.
I think being famous is one of those things that you don’t understand how it really feels until it happens to you. It seems totally normal to find out that it isn’t as great as you thought it would be.
While I wouldn’t turn down the money that often goes with celebrity, it looks a lot less fun today than pre-internet, TMZ, social media, etc.. Can you imagine the shit Marilyn Monroe would be subjected to today? (Not saying she wasn’t subjected to shit, but I think it would be even worse in this day and age.)
Dating as a famous man must be the shit, though. I mean, who doesn’t want to read, what your latest date (model, waitress, aspiring actress) has to dish to the latest tabloid rag: ‘My raunchy night with...’? Or they use social media:
And it sounds like dating as a famous woman SUCKS.
She said, I think on Colbert?, that she wasn’t rich. In fact she said almost exactly “...you know I’m not rich, right?” - now to me, comparatively, she is probably quite rich but she’s not like, rich enough for it to blunt the effect of being famous it seems.
I imagine it would SUCK to be famous but not particularly…
Yeah, I’m not sure why anyone is ripping her apart for saying that. Being famous is not necessarily the same as being rich, and I don’t see it as her complaining about having money. Being under a microscope all the time, especially as a woman, just sounds awful.
Exactly. We’re all human, sharing the same human experience. We just happen to be in different circumstances during the experience.
Yeah, I’m not mad at her for talking about it. I get angry when my family asks me why I’m in the kitchen! I can’t imagine the world clocking my every move and having to be *on* all the time.
Jennifer Lawrence seems to be sharing the same sentiment as Amy. I think it’s actually refreshing, albeit still sad, that these are women who are being honest about their very human feelings. It seems natural to feel like you’ve hit a wall sometimes, and to hear famous, wealthy women express this kind-of shitty…
Apart from the perks of being famous (private jets, never having to worry about paying a bill unless you're Lindsay Lohan) I bet being famous sucks. Everything you do is under a microscope, you're in constant fear that one day and it could be the next day, you're suddenly old news and nobody cares about you (Justin…
