I knew Charley well from the GP2 days. What was impressive was the amount of work he had, yet he always had time for a chat. Even during F2, when he did not oversee the category anymore, he would always have a moment. Never seen someone work so hard, yet be so laid back. And he had a wicked sense of humor. Will miss

They are turbo engines now and sound worse than F1. Pity

Not anymore...

I got my driving license in the US because I had a Swiss learners license for a couple of years and the cops did not like it much. Could not blame them really. But fast forward to a couple of years later when I am living in Monaco and need to get a semi truck license. Now, do you recall that F1 track that they use to

So that means the drivers will be Indonesians Haryanto and Gelael?

He actually is very down to earth and relaxed. That is just how he is. Great sense of humor. If you ever get to meet him, you will notice he is a pretty impressive guy. He speaks to everyone, regardless who they are, and does not have his nose up in the air like many drivers at this level of racing.

Realized that afterwards. Optical effect from that angle. Pretty cool though.

Worked with him after as well. Top driver.

Tell me, how many championships did 4 time F1 World Champion, Sebastian Vettel, win after having won his BMW championship?

Rossi not that good? What do you base that on? How many drivers have you trained and mentored on the way to F1? Just wondering what was the basis for that statement.

He is driving in F1. This weekend.

Rossi more than deserves the drive. Having sat in on many of the technical meetings with his engineers and having gone over race strategy with him, it is quite obvious he was ready for F1 years ago. This guy is right up there with the best I have run...and as some of you know, I have run quite a few of the very best.

Completely destroyed at having read this. He was possibly the best driver we ever ran. Extremely professional and a great team player. His laid back attitude with his immense will to win really drove the whole team. Most important among all his attrributes was his personality, what a wonderful person he was. Good

This thing is off the scale amazing...

Have to say that I do not entirely agree. I have a F355 for 20 years now, have done about 150,000 km and it is still in good shape without spending a fortune to maintain it. Yes, changing the belt is a pain in the ass, but apart from that, the rest is as reasonable as any other car if you do most yourself. Fun car,

...and scare the hell out of family members :-)

Interesting, thanks

Enjoy COTA with those cars, must be a blast on a track like that. Best of luck

Have you ever had a chance to follow one of the Oak Coupe (Ligier) cars closely and what did you think about general handling around corners, especially the fast corners? More nervous or pretty much the same as the open tops?

What do you see as the strong and weak points between the open and closed LMP2 cars? which would make you more comfortable to drive, obviously open would give better visibility, but closed more safety, but what else? Better aero on the closed cars?
