Dealerships. Pure and simple answer. The inability to have direct sales and having to go through dealerships who are middlemen at best and rip off artists of the first order at worst.

SUVs like the RX is where Lexus is most successful. That and many of their dealerships are upscale in appearance and service.
How can DFW not make this list? The terminals are a mile long but 30 feet wide, so you have to walk forever fighting fellow travelers trying to squeeze by the narrow walkways. Plus you have to pay - even if just picking up or dropping off.
