Agreed, I'd never do this. I don't want an inquiry on my credit report because I wanted to see if I liked a car or not.

I've been lusting after these for a while and tried out someone's at a recent track day (they were using it as a pit bike) and it was a blast. I'm planning on shopping around over the winter to hopefully get a decent deal on one from someone that (somehow) got bored of it this year.

I see where you're coming from but I'm sort of undecided since there wasn't a really clear video of what happened.

I don't know if there were any dedicated Fisker dealerships, but there were definitely dealerships that sold and serviced them. I drive past one every week that only took the sign down a couple months ago, but I believe they're also a Volvo dealer.

HIGHLY modified Rotax engine. From when I last chatted with an engineer at their plant (this was in regards to the 1190RS engine though) they said there isn't a single part of the engine that they don't modify after they receive it from Rotax (it ships as an 1125 engine I think).

NOOOO!!! It ditched the cool as hell carbon fiber caliper mount/air cooling duct that the RS and RX had.

I used to live in the area and I feel like that house has been on the market for years, maybe they finally caved for a lower price or something.

I've always seen this, but I think you might be right about it actually being a frog:

I'm so glad this is a thing.

Yeah, that's true, but in a way the purpose of my visit was sort of to figure out if they'd even get a vehicle in the future. I only physically came since I was in the area and had some time to kill, and I would've considered the visit a success if the guy just took my number and said he'd get back to me about it. I

I'm really excited for the i8. Although given my experience at a dealer the other day, their biggest challenge might be actually selling these things...

Liking Subarus is just a phase that you'll outgrow. I knew a girl in college that liked Subarus for a few years but once she got into the real world she started only liking Mazdas and has happily had a Mazda3 for years.

Mr. Corstorphine,

Yep, I ditched my laptop and got a Dell Venue 8 Pro for $230. Sometimes I miss not having a bigger screen, but with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse I can do anything.

I'm 6'2" and currently have a new Beetle as a rental, and holy crap does that thing have a lot of headroom. It's definitely with checking out for taller folks.

Definitely agree on this one. I consider myself kind of a "car guy" and I do absolutely all of my own work on my street and race motorcycles, but I just can't be bothered with a car.

Weird, I could've sworn the Phaeton was an A8 with a steel frame. A family member had a Phaeton for years then replaced it with a Continental GT and I got plenty of hours in the seat of both and I would never have guessed they were on the same platform.

I'm really curious about the statement that any person can't just buy a 458. There is a dealer near me that has, at various times (I only say this because I don't know for sure if they have them now), had brand new 458s "in stock," sitting in their showroom. Are you saying there is really some sort of thing that
