The headlights on my 3rd gen 4Runner are abysmal.
Can confirm, my old SX4 hatchback had amazing visibility for all angles other than the absolutely massive A-pillars. Luckily there was a lot of cabin space because I needed it to crane my head around.

I take it back, I was wrong! I saw the wonky Raygun font and jumped to a conclusion. Turns out, it’s an actual cover and was just designed to be wonky.

It’s more of an issue on higher profile tires, where movement from additional flexing can dislodge the plug. They’re not meant to be considered permanent for this reason, but the few I’ve needed over the years have also been completely fine.

When I stop on inclines, I intentionally let the car roll back a bit to force a gap with the vehicle slowing down behind me. I’ve never needed more than a few inches to actually get going (giggity) from a standstill, but it seems to be effective at discouraging the other driver from creeping up just before I proceed.
