Feminism has never defined domestic violence as something that ONLY victimizes women. Women are victims at a higher rate than men which is why they get more focus. That doesn't mean that we don't take domestic violence against men seriously. You wanna know who DOESN'T take domestic violence against men seriously? Men.

Just because feminism hasn't FOCUSED on domestic violence against men doesn't mean it has dismissed it.

I don't know, I think feminists' worst failure was when we ͏̷̡̙̟̜̜į̫̖̞̖͈͜͠ͅņ̜̳͙́v̢̢͉̩̩̥̻͇̖̘̜͞o̴̹̤̫̫͔̩̫̬̻k̢̳̥̙e̱͍̩̳̫̲͢d ̴͉̞͍̯̗͚͙t̖͔̪͎̫̕ͅh̶̛̞̺̳̮̬̹͎è̬̦̰̕ ̨͕̠̹h̼̳͚͎͈į̙̙̀̕v̫̘͈̗̤̜̰͝͡e͟҉̷̙̥̟̝͍̻̮-҉̸̡͎̮m͉̦̙͢͟i̸̞̠n̼̞͝d̶̩̱̣̳

/long rant

A male friend was a victim of domestic abuse. A female friend was a victim of domestic abuse. They did not have the same experiences getting help, etc because of gender roles, homophobia, sexism, etc. There is a place and need in society for general and specific help.

If MRAs really cared about Mens Rights,

remember the time feminism summoned Chtullu?

Really? I think feminism's biggest mistake was when it opened up the portal to the vampire dimension.

I participated in shooting sports, did postal shoots, grew up hunting and was the leader of a 4H Shooting sports group for a few years out of High School.

This is such bullshit and conflicts with the message sent to women about preventing their own assaults. You can't basically tell women they are responsible for acting in such a manner so as to prevent their own rape, then yell at them that they're being "too scared" or "too cautious." You can't have it both fucking

AEI - Women being concerned about the unlikely probability that they are drugged is a bad thing.

I think the point is more, before there was wide knowledge that they were rapists, they made significant contributions to art that are not undone by virtue of their being rapists. Now that I know they're rapists, I don't enjoy contributing to their success (which, had they one to jail as they should have would be a

You forgot Genesissy. I think there were derisive nicknames for people who owned the Turbo-Grafx-16 as well, but at this point, all I can remember was the pointing and laughing.

I wish my old man would have been a bit into games. The only games he played when I was around was PGA games and the occasional bowling game. That was in the early 90s. But he just goes on and on about Alex Kidd in the Miracle World. About how hard one of the last stages was. A water maze with spikes. After years of

I think you're the one pushing the Agenda. Kotaku covered that story, and it received a lot of attention. I remember commenting on it. The only people who really push any sort of "Agenda" are the ones who blatantly lie about the truth, to make their own bullshit argument stronger.

When I read her tweet, I don't hear it in that tone. I didn't interpret it at all the way you did. Like most of her stuff, it comes off as a flat statement of fact, yet people who hate her see it as something far more nefarious.

...and that disaster ultimately makes her point for her, and the message is carried forward.

I seriously doubt Sarkeesian wants to be a martyr for her cause—but she's also made it clear that she's not some mewling milksop who will be cowed into silence by a bunch of online blowhards who think outing someone's address

What's the agenda? Bullet points, please.

"The game director from Black Ops 2 at its height got 1,000's of death threats a day. No one cared then."

Yeah, no one cares or talks about it. Other than Kotaku who ran a massive story on the death threats received by the Call of Duty director:

He doesn't have a source, because the statement is 100% false. Kotaku covered those death threats in a fair amount of detail at the time, since sending death threats over tweaking game balance is equally as absurd.

Apparently, the gaming community has an extra dose of crazy. Lucky us.
