The biggest card eater on that "Ultra" mode is the 6gb texture detail (Well other than actually running it at 4k, or pumping the AA to infinity). The truth is unless you have a monster 4k rig, all additional texture detail would become basically lost at only 1080p (Shit, i hate saying ONLY 1080p).

I would argue the framerate improvement is a pretty big deal if you like that sort of thing
