I totally buy some hardback guides for games I really like more as companion collectables for the game rather than actual game helping material.... I basically buy them to take up space, I think I have a hoarding problem.

What happened to dev and publisher packs with 30+ games for 50 bucks or less? Those were the BEST deals! The Quakecon pack I got 2 years ago still rocks my world and makes up at least 20% of my library all for 50 bones.

I never gave this a shot when I was younger because I knew it differed from the source. At this point in my life it seems like a refreshing take on a long adored story line.
