Jow us this any different the someone falling asleep behind the wheel or drinking and driving in any other car? The only difference is the car didnt wreck. I dont get the outrage, unless ypu are making a baseless assumptiom thst this behavior was intentional

I would think the punishment would be the same for someone that fell asleep behind the wheel and ended up crashing

also cruise ships. they sometimes have to store the body in a fridge

pro lifers (forced birth as you say) believe all abortion is wrong. so... not sure what you mean by middle ground is pro choice. I don’t know of anyone advocating forced abortions.

my impression is that this isn’t a major issue but it does happen from time to time. Even in the most recent example that made headlines the trucks were moved once the property manager was notified

I’m happy with their service. Sucks that you aren’t but it seems like most people are satisfied.

so 95% success rate of two day delivery (which many would have said was impossible before Amazon started offering it). Seems fine to me. No business is perfect and that is what customer service is for.

I live in a major metro area and for the most part my Amazon packages get delivered on time. Things sometimes happen (major weather events) or a package will go missing and I’ll have them resend it but for the most part it works as advertised. If you are counting on any online order and delivery for life or death

i mean it was a demonstration tunnel where they tried a few different concepts. I’m guessing you missed the part where they managed to dig the tunnel for an order of magnitude less time and expense then traditional tunneling companies.

the deal between a Canadian company and an American company, which required and received the sign off of 9 different senior administration officials, did happen. The idea that Clinton made it happen by herself (which makes no sense as she would have had to suborn 8 other senior officials) is ridiculous and the deal

on higher end, fully loaded ones sure. Their overall profit margin, including the base model sales of trucks and the sedans (which they are phasing out) is way below that.

FYI I knew exactly what Trump was talking about, even if he didn’t, as it relates to the Chicken Tax thing. There is an existing tax of 25% on pickup trucks and work vans. Guessing Trump is saying he could expand that to all cars... which you covered in your article. But wanted to clear up the perceived confusion

they were spending hundreds of millions of dollars on the construction / reworking of assembly lines. They no longer are doing that, they are simply operating the lines and doing small tweaks to boost efficiency. It wouldn’t make any sense that expenses would stay high after they are done building out production

we’ll know in two weeks. expenses for the quarter are expected to be 50%+ less than Q2

they have dramatically changed their costs since last quarter lol. They are no longer spending hundreds of millions a quarter on the production ramp. Their expenses are expected to drop dramatically this quarter and the volume of production is dramatically increased. Last quarter they were achieving margins of 15% to

my understanding is that the model 3 is nicer and has better performance

no clue what you are talking about. Teslas have some of the lowest depreciation of a car in their class.

what makes you say that? They are going to be selling a $45,000 starting in early 2019. No reason to think we won’t see the $35,000 version model by the end of 2019

a car entering a highway is supposed to yield right of way. end of story. in this situation the camry should have stopped and waited for a save opportunity to merge into traffic.
