if all the skin heads start using it pretty soon it becomes a skin head symbol. Not to hard to understand. Kind of like the fist in the air became a black power symbol.

considering how much of a travesty it was for her to be a VP nominee and the fact that her family related scandals were all over the news it wasn’t exactly all that surprising.
when looking at life time production volume the roadster is not in the same class as the S and X. And the S and X aren’t in the same class as where the 3 will end up. They went from niche to small volume luxury and now hopefully to mass market. There is a difference between all three stages and it is definitely fair…
they are protesting in an effort to make the Gov apply the same rules to Uber that are applied to cabs. That is doing something. They can try and improve their business model etc. but an unfair market is an issue that must be addressed.
not wrong but you are ignoring the fact that cabs are subject to LOADS of regulations regarding how they operate, where they operate, what vehicles they use, etc. etc. which means that unless Uber is subject to the same regulations it isn’t a fair playing field.

while I don’t think you are off base, you are ignoring the fact that cabs are subject to LOADS of regulations regarding how they operate, where they operate, what vehicles they use, etc. etc. which means that unless Uber is subject to the same regulations it isn’t a fair playing field.
yeah but that guy is still racist and hangs out with racists. so..... maybe vote for Leslie Cockburn?
There are a millions of republicans in those states also though. There are some districts that have a majority Republican slant even though the state is liberal. But I agree every seat counts at this point and It seems like people are getting the message but who knows
yeah I guess I was conflating the turnout of the midterm elections with the presidential elections. I live in NY and have friends in Cali and know plenty of Dems that don’t bother voting because they say the state will go Dem anyway (they are mostly all planning on voting this November). For the country though…
a big driver in low turnout is that the largest states only get ~30% because it is known which way the state will go. If you gave us a popular vote election in 2020 you would see turn out above 70%
Well he clearly states it would be compressed atmosphere (air). As far as them being useless I don’t get your point. As primary propulsion sure, it is useless. The idea is to use a blast of several hundred PSI to impart momentum at specific times (such as when traction is lost) to enable the vehicle to stay on the…
maybe, maybe not. But yes because it is compressed air with an on board compressor you don’t need large fuel storage. Keep in mind that the car already has an air compressor for various purposes (air conditioning etc.) which might be able to be leveraged. Anyway I think this system if it actually happens would only be…
this is a high end specialty car for enthusiasts, and this is the premium package on top of that. Second, the use of thrusters like these may be a step toward a design eventually capable of flight
using highly compressed air means no need to carry fuel and no concern regarding high flame temp etc
yeah but you are ignoring that people clearly felt they had a deal from him when leaving meetings. it seems like he literally tells people what they want to hear at that moment.
he said he would make an electric car that people would actually think is cool and want to buy. Everyone screamed bull shit and now we have the Model S and Model X. Both very popular, extremely highly rated and outselling their competitors at BMW, Mercedes etc. for the respective segments (large sedans, large SUVs)
I don’t think it failed to recognize the obstacle, that is kind of ridiculous, I think it saw the emergency vehicle and notified the driver that they had to take over as this was an abnormal situation. When they finish their analysis they are going to say that the system disengaged prior to the accident after giving…
you say “machine was driving” as though the use of what is essentially fancy cruise control is somehow inherently dangerous. There are great real world examples of when the technology is clearly not mature enough to be in testing let alone use (Uber) and examples where so much data has been collected that we can say…
