Okay, so neither of the ones I voted for are winning. The Mustang edging the CRX I can understand, the Impreza beating the W123 I can't. Unless 95% of Jalopnik readers live in Colorado.

It's either because they're affordable, or because an unexpected number of people want a little more excitement in their lives.

Any Porsche that isn't an aircooled 911, to any tedious aircooled 911-loving Porsche fan.

Cars And Coffee, Iron Curtain-style. Only without the coffee as it's too luxurious.

Ford has in fact already build a Caterham 7 with the Ecoboost 1.0 in it - they had it last year on the Euro Fiesta ST launch, but sadly I didn't get a go:

And the electric classic Zelectric Bug that featured on Jalopnik recently (and last year sometime) also has a standard gearbox, the original 4-speed. Works really well, even if you have to slightly re-learn how to drive a manual since the motive force you're controlling works in a completely different way.

Alternatively, spend any time at all driving on UK motorways and you'll never look at US highways in a bad light again. I've found most UK driving utterly frustrating after doing 6.5k miles in the US in September last year. Embrace the emptiness. (Unless you live in city, in which case I feel some of your pain).

This is the unpopular choice I'm guessing but I've still not had more MarioKart fun than on the Wii version. Yes, blue shells are a pain in the arse and yes, motion control is a bit gimmicky, but ultimately you still get a bunch of awesome circuits, including several N64 and earlier ones (and some of the cool DS

Driving the Zelectric Bug was one of my highlights of last year. Glad to see Meyers getting a go even if the camera didn't quite last that long!

Sometimes "accidentally" cutting off somebody could have been helped by the other driver not being a massive idiot too. I've done this a few times when passing someone and pulling in, only for them to have accelerated unbeknownst to me making the gap a lot smaller than it should have been.

It's called the Jazz in the UK too, I believe because a "Fit" had more connotations with what an epileptic person has than what you get when you make regular visits to the gym.

I'm from the UK. Stressed and lost finding my way out of Cleveland (OH) last year I did something almost identical, right down to diving into a gas station once I'd realized what I'd done. No police for me though, was late at night and barely any traffic about.

Yup, this is pretty embarrassing. Done it a few times, albeit very briefly. Never happens when I've been in a country for a few days and got used to the roads, but on a flying visit I'll occasionally start off on the wrong side of the road maybe early in the morning when there's no other traffic about to remind you

I really want one. I find the concept of a car designed specifically to last a long time really appealing, rather than a car that starts to grind through ever more expensive parts over its lifecycle and eventually becomes uneconomical to run.

If you could accidentally "lose" that drone, all will be well.

Was out in Dubai when that happened. The extra week I got to stay there was not shit.

So, Jeremy... you Brits will be taking Morgan back from us, right? Right?

That's interesting about the Ibuki. It's very easy to see Ibuki in early NCs - clearly it influenced those cars, so it'd be intriguing to know how much truth there is to the rumors the new one will be Ibuki-like too. Wouldn't complain if it was - provided it kept the Ibuki's small size and delicate proportions too.
