Technically, our first look at Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool was in "X-men origins: Wolverine". Reynolds portrayed him as the snarky merc that he was supposed to be, but <"spoiler alert> they mangled the character post-transformation by sewing his mouth shut. So much for the Merc with the Mouth. I'm glad they're

Bartitsu sounds like a college drinking game. A naughty one. I'm in.

I'm not disparaging "sports entertainment", but it's a completely different animal from competitive sports. I'm not in the field, but I'd guess most MMA fighters would look down on Pro wrestlers for the simple fact that they could probably kick the crap out of them. The obvious parallel is an NFL quarterback comparing

I'm not sure whether to be surprised or not. I'd call myself a fan, but just of her MMA career. I don't know anything about her social media profile or personal life other than what she's revealed on TUF or fight interviews.

I'm kind of surprised Rousey would appear on a WWE program. She's so intensely hardcore about her sport that it seems almost demeaning to go fake-fight people for entertainment.

One hopes "The Waiter will remember that."

I was going to chime in with something like "my childhood was similar", but then I realized it wasn't. I'm 37 - only 6 years older, but in video game time that's a pretty significant difference. The games I remember from my formative years were Super Mario Bros., Ninja Gaiden, Street Fighter II, and TMNT. I don't

That's you, personally. Did you parents actually review what you were playing? Did they buy the games for you? If so, that's tacit approval. They trusted you were mature enough to handle the content, and they were right.

I will say - I am in favor of a mandatory parental lock on open chat channels prior to age of legal consent. I don't play much multiplayer and when I do I generally don't engage my mic unless I'm playing with close friends. On the rare times I do, I don't consider that there could be an 8-year-old hearing my voice.

I think the activist group should mind their own business. Shoving your kids in front of a TV without supervision or review while you leave to go do something else is neglect. But applying a blanket statement about access to games = social services call is Jack Thompson-style sensationalism. They're chasing a magic

A lot of billboards in the states have converted to giant lcd panels. Get those suckers doing 3d and imagine the possibilities!

Could be Radioative Man. Hulk doesn't usually gesticulate like that. That looks more like a "I'm gonna blast you" gesture than a grab'n'smash thing.

Everyone besides Thor and Cap looks like a teenager. They should probably get to class before Ultron spanks them with a ruler.

You either don't like the sight of breasts, or want them protected at all costs.

She lost a shoe. That's going to throw her balance off.

Yeah! Sly never pulled out Bill Paxton's heart. That should be worth at least 10 more!

Agreed, but it takes a PR ninja to pull that off. Providing a counterpoint is only effective if your reviewer is obviously and demonstrably wrong. If what they said had any merit, calling out their critique is only going to shine a brighter spotlight on the faults of your product. Pointing out the good qualities

My perception of critics is probably the opposite of yours. In my view, most critics know a thing or two about the things they are criticizing, but they're not experts at it. I'd argue that the true masters are too close to the issue and are virtually incapable of critiquing their own industry. If Wolfgang Puck

I think that would be a no-win situation. Critiquing a critic's critique automatically paints you as a whiner. If you put something out there and get a bad review, the only recourse you've got is to improve and get a better review. I can't think of any time I've heard or read a rebuttal concerning a publicly

That does how he do use the law.
