Did we ever get a closure for the blue thread? I had a strange feeling during the last scene that it would be tied to a piece of clothing Sister Alice was wearing, but I don’t think she could be sadistic enough to stitch a dead baby’s eyes open. Twisted and damaged, yes—sadistic, not so much.

Just putting this out there: Is it possible that the bribe came from the prosecution?

Before I even read the review, I’ve come here to say that I’m already excited for next season. HBO has a another winner. I knew that PM was going to be a new favorite series before the finale even began—I was reluctant to watch this final episode because I know that in an hour, I’d have to wait at least another year

Something about the way he lingered in Bella’s room got me worried for a second. The characters in this show rarely interact with each other without some underlying conflict. Looks like he’s truly a nice guy though!

I went from adoring Bella in the first episode to loathing her in the most recent—she even after she apologized. Can there be anyone less self-aware? (Say that in a Chandler voice).

I really need to watch each episode twice—which I will do gladly. There are a lot of characters, but each episode is jam packed with events that are relevant to the plot. When Ennis killed his accomplices in the first episode, I just considered that it was done by random criminals. I went back to episode one recently,

Right? Two towheads with turned up noses.

I hear you. But the dust and the technology standards were fine. I had a hard time with the insipid script. Not all movies were like this in 1959, Hitchcock immediately comes to mind.

So inspired by this article, I rented A Summer Place. Jesus, what a horrible script and what horrible acting. The dialogue is laugh out loud funny, and the plot is rushed and without any believable lead in to events.

I went right to AV Club to read the review/recap right after I watched last night to no avail. This show is seriously the best thing on right now. Not a scene or piece of dialogue that doesn’t give the viewer insight to the story. Captivating!

Hey Allison, are you okay? No Perry Mason and no What’s on Tonight...

If a tree falls in the woods...

Hey~ David Letterman was a creep, but at least he admitted it!

This show is genius! It is so well put together: compelling story, great characters, talented actors, beautiful cinematography. I don’t know why it isn’t getting more positive reviews. 75 on Rotten Tomatoes? I don’t get it.

Ew, is that Harvey Weinstein on the top photo?

My take was that the final scene was a replay of the first meeting for the purpose of contrasting Theo’s monologue once you knew more about her.

Hmmmmm, interesting!

Ha! You sound like me when I watched this episode:

I can’t help but think of Better Call Saul, and the path from ne’er do well weasel to big time lawyer.

I was under that impression too. He appears to be a scrawny guy until he is in a scene with Lupe, that is.
