My day is made! Thanks for the clip.

I could read about all of the horrid incidents that occurred in 19th Century Britain all day and still want more. I suppose it is because it reminds me that, as discouraging as life is in contemporary times, those who lived during the industrial age were suckers.

I am having problems fathoming how Jennings, a practicing Mormon, made 69 jokes on national television.

I get it, and I am a firm believer that sitting in front of a screen is not a good way for a child to pass time. But, sometimes you have to bring your kids to a restaurant, and sometimes children can’t be perfect. Handing my toddler a smartphone with a Paw Patrol video has saved my sanity many times.

I was recently discussing this with my daughter regarding my grandson. Trump was probably the first public persona he could identify, and he knew that he was not a good guy. At four years old he is already making Trump jokes. (How is Trump like Donald Duck? He has an orange face and is angry all the time.)

Colbert’s keynote speech in 2006 is still the pinnacle of any Correspondents Dinner, past or present.

That makes a lot more sense!

Also:

I completely agree.

Thank god we have Henry Winkler for a little comic relief. Otherwise, I think my head would have exploded by the end of the episode.

Wait, are you comparing NoHo Hank to Jon Hamm?

Starting... now.

OMFG.

Overanalysis, Nippleless side boob.

Yup. Nippleless side boob.

Yeah. Same reason I couldn’t little Sally Draper have sex as a teenage witch.

Vago: king of the segue

I had just posted Gwen’s Mad Men choice on Twitter two hours ago. Great minds think alike?

I would have been okay with it, but now it’s ruined for me.

Damn. Kirk Douglas’ head looks like it was poorly Photoshopped in in the header photo...
