There’s always Halloween 3 Season of the Witch, which is how this franchise was supposed to go, before it got endlessly repetitive and boring.

This just confirms my suspicion that the 2018 Halloween should have been a one-and-done film rather than the first part of a trilogy.

This is something that the comic book did really well. The Cenobites were almost always called by the protagonist’s obsessions. (One of my favorite early stories concerned a boxer whose movements and strikes echoed the design of the Configuration.)
