It is exactly this. As a culture we are growing up and seeing that abusive behavior is just abusive behavior. This whole thing about making excuses for artists being volatile, emotionally complex, temperamental because it is byproduct of their creative genius and therefor must be tolerated, is no longer acceptable.
It’s a huge amount. At the very least they were raised in that environment. Evangelical/apocalyptic tropes make up QAnon at a cellular level. Trump as the Messiah, The Storm of Judgment Day, and now the great disillusionment that befalls most religious cults when their prophecies fail to manifest.
I avoided this movie for years but when I saw that trailer I HAD to watch the film. And it was just about as batshit as the trailer which I really loved.
Maybe they should wait just a bit longer to confirm this information. Let’s not get Voyager 2's hopes up.
