Yeah, but when that adult merely incapacitates themselves permanently instead of killing themselves someone has to effectively give up their own life and wealth to take care of them.

I’m not sure. In any case, I don’t think Toyota makes any E.V.s that are eligible.

The structure is the subsidy is 7500 for all qualifying E.V.s, 10,000 if it’s made in the U.S., and 12,500 if it’s made in the U.S. by union labor. It’s only the last 2500 that is limited to union products.
