Best defensive SS in baseball? Did Andrelton Simmons become a double-amputee and die?

Except he’s below average in defensive stats now as well. There is literally zero actual reason for thinking about him as an all star. He is 11/16 in CS%, 9th in dWAR, 6th in CERA, dead last in passed balls.

Agreed, the Cardinals should have every position on the NL team. They’re not even good enough for a playoff spot and they’re 8 1/2 games out of first at the moment, but definitely the best team!!

I read somewhere that they’ve lost a lot of games. Hurts their All Star prospects.
