I’m not sure what part of pipelines and electronic monitoring you think is not technology.

Ironic that the very states who vote for anti-environmantal and anti-regulation candidates are the very states most often in the news for environmental disasters.
Raging Bulldog, you don’t deserve a reply, but I’m feeling generous. I’m not sure, though, what the 200 million gas tanks on U.S. cars has to do with this pipeline to transport this oil to the Gulf of Mexico for export to other countries.
“deliberately asking them to transport the material by a less-safe alternative.”
What do you think the pipeline is going to do for Americans? It’s Canadian oil, brought down to the gulf to be refined and shipped to other nations. Canadians benefit, and Texas oil companies benefit... but I don’t see anyone else gaining anything from this endeavor.
Yeah. Keep saying that while pithily dismissing the person who ripped your false equivalency to shreds with a rational rebuttal. Just because you’re not swearing doesn’t mean you’re being reasonable.
Its the lazy and ungrateful like you that are the perpetual cause of “The Tragedy of the Common”
We really don’t.
I translate that to you: unknown reasons = Cost cutting and self regulation
“The reality is we do need that energy source at the moment. So maybe we should be talking about the safest way to transport it instead of saying “no” to everything.”
In the span of a few hours, it might be hard to catch. I have my doubts that there are a lot of people watching things what with all the de-regulation. I could easily be wrong, however, and overall we seem to be on the same side.
Oh man, are you protesting protesting?
Didn’t take long for the idiots to show up.
Yeah, those dudes in Boston back in in the 1700's didn’t start anything meaningful with their rabble-rousing...
