The Base is absolutely worth it. I think it sounds the best out of all the Cayman models, even without PSE. The Base manual is also geared lower than the other models. I wanted more power so I put a 3.8L in. It is a screamer. I added sport headers and a Guards LSD along with the X73. Still got out cheaper than a GT4

In the mid 90s I knew a guy that was finance manager at a car dealership. One day I saw him white out several loan apps to increase the income on customer loan applications. This is so they would qualify for the loan. He also told me that he would wait until Friday after the bank was closed to fax in the applications.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that doesn’t wash my Cayman regularly. I also drive it in the snow (gasp!).

That is awesome. Where are you guys?

I know of three 981s with the 3.8L with X51 kit in them. I have the standard 3.8L from a 991S in my 981 Cayman. It’s making 370 rwhp and 304 rwtq. It’s a friggin blast.

The throttle body in the 981 is about 10mm smaller than the 991

I love the new Vette but don’t like the interior at all.

and you can get the Cayenne with a 6MT

I agree. I was cross shopping an S5 when looking for a Cayman. I decided against it when I learned they no longer had a V8. My previous cars were an S8 and a couple of TT S4s. Corvettes and Mustangs never entered my mind.

When I went to look at Cayman’s in June of ‘13 all they had was a base model with 2.7l. On paper I wasn’t interested but test drove it because it was the only one they had. Then I got it. The one thing you can’t put on paper is the emotion aspect. I loved the sound of the engine, the handling, the interior and it had

It’s called ‘Tactical Girth’

In Indiana you can get an OWI while operating any moving vehicle, bike, lawn tractor, etc. Even on private property. Only exemption is a medical mobility device.

I used to know a guy that ran one of these. It was part of a bigger franchise (JDBR). He explained to me what they would do. Buy a Ford Taurus at auction for cheap. Sell it to folks with iffy credit. The down payment would about cover what the dealer had in the car. They knew the car would most likely be repoed after

This things were all over Arizona when I was growing up.

In my state ANY property damage accident with damage of $1000 or more MUST be reported. Public or Private property. In the example above you could call the next day and report it but you still left the scene of an accident.

TV recording equipment was available in the late 20s. The oldest surviving off air recording by a viewer dates to 1934.

Read "Tokyo Vice: An American Reporter on the Police Beat in Japan" by Jake Adelstein and you will see that Japan's justice system is no where near as fair as ours. It's down right scary.
