Anyone else kind of let down? I feel like the first to second generation raptor was a huge leap in styling, power etc. This thing looks damn near identical to the previous raptor and seems like just mild little tweaks here and there with no significant changes (until the v8 comes out)

Same. I also live in SD. I’m baffled by the number of six-figure SUVs I see on the road. And I’m guessing these folks must all be retired or vacationing, because there sure aren’t enough jobs in SD with pay adequate for people to afford the cars and houses they buy. *Sigh*

Just to be clear, you can buy a fully optioned E63 wagon (carbon brakes, carbon trim, etc) for less than the GTS and at that point it’s closer in performance and features to the hybrid Turbo Panamera at $197k+...an easy choice...

I love these. After the facelift from the initial launch they’ve become graceful and elegant. I do wish you could option a tartan seat insert with that colour...yeah that’d be nice!

I got one of these as a loaner while my Cayman was being serviced. While it wasn’t the GTS, I got the exact same impressions of the car as you did, particularly the center console. If I won the lottery, a PST would 99% be my daily.

I’m not really sure what the target market for this car is, but whatever it may be, I’m glad it exists.

Thanks for a great article... I’m looking for a wagon for a variety of reasons, and I’d love to own even the 6 cylinder version of this car, but the price point is just rarified air even with that powertrain.

Cayenne owner here. Going to try to put another 15k miles on my Cayenne and move to the Panamera.

I think price should cease to be a consideration when you guys review cars over, like, $125k. Your points are all well made, but nobody who buys one of these is giving its value for money even a fraction of a second of thought. You can get the 4S for much less money and still have far more power than you could ever
