Way to recycle all of yesterday's posts and stories.

What is this beast going to cost?

The factory Porsche team that won Le Mans last year...

The numbers are pretty much bang-on with what we heard earlier. In addition to a seven-speed manual transmission, the Z06 will actually be offering an eight-speed automatic, as well, in the form of the 8L90E.

Porsche 911

Between 3 and 5 weekends per summer.

Mid ohio and road America too.

Corvette racing wouldn't say shit cuz they use coilovers all around.

Chevrolet hates supercars. Specifically, they hate other company's supercars. That's why they make the Corvette Z06, an uncompromised road and track monster that eats Porsches for breakfast. And a new one is coming next week. Here's what you need to know.

I'd trade my 911 for a c7 z06 all day erry day. But then again, I'd prolly be dead or the car would be totaled after the first track day which would happen w/in 24 hours of delivery.

How much is the MP4-12C? That will eat the vette's lunch.

Best Motoring needs to do a Z06 vs Viper TA vs 12C vs 458 speciale vs gt3 showdown.

I thought that as long as the car was 25 years old, no federalization was necessary?

All day, erry day

True, but I want one as it was intended. I know Canepa has been able to squeeze out more power, etc. but I want the original, unmolested, as it came from the factory beast.

No one cares.

Is that still running?

Here's the ultimate battle - 991 gt3 vs mp4-12c. Good vs evil. High tech vs relatively lo-tech. German vs Brit. Put them on R comps and bring them to Barber, VIR or Laguna Seca. Factory hot shoes drive.

My 997 isnt much of a commuter already with the Pagid yellow pads and the aftermarket coil-overs so thats why I would trade for a GT3. I tried commuting in my modded 997 in Chicago traffic and after 2 weeks I got a commuter car.

I've said the same thing about my 06 997 as well, but then I wonder about what I would do if the IMS bearing blows up... unlikely, but still a possibility given how few miles I have on the car.
