BTW: There is a very real possibility this new NSX will never come to light. Honda may only be using it to exploit a loophole in the Super GT rulebook. It states that in order to compete, the vehicle on which the Super GT version is based need only be "Prodcution Ready". The manufacturer doesn't actually need

Somehow the Twin Turbo V6, Mid-Engined, carbon monocoque CRZ GT300 is cooler, even though it only runs in the GT300 class (but built to GT500 regs). The Super GT rules are most lax of any GT series. This is why the cars are built like Le Mans Prototypes.

All I can see is a Pig Nose. :S

It's REAL velour.

The NSX RR is not really a Honda model as it was just a concept built by Mugen from a regular NSX. They were able to easily turn the engine longitudinally because it has no transmission. DOH!

The newer 6-speeds aren't without their problems. This clutch is a LUK self adjusting pressure plate with dual-mass flywheel. And while they are not that expensive, they are definitely more than quirky. Installing one of these requires a huge amount of special tools, or the know-how to pre-load the self-adjusting

Any OBD2 Honda can blink out it's own codes with a simple paperclip. This includes transmission, AWD, SRS & ABS codes that non-Honda code readers and Blue-Tooth aps can't get to.

Uh, this describes all forms of racing. It's the only logical progression. It's also the difference between dicking around with your friends and actual competition. If you are dicking around, you abide by a gentlemen's agreement. If things become competitive, agreements go out the window. Then you have to have

They have to get rid of that damn clown-nose front end. Perhaps something more like the Corolla?

Another little discussed fact about these cars is that they are FANTASTIC for cruising with the windows down. It's the only car I've been in with zero buffeting no matter how you set the windows. It's always quiet & smooth, even on the freeway at 70mph.

...and the hot-rodding potential is astounding! 200 N/A horsepower bolted directly into my 94 CX in one afternoon, and I only had to add 1 wire from the shock tower harness plug down to the ECU plug for VTAK.

It means they let off throttle and started to decelerate while the dyno was still recording. You are probably seeing throttle-by-wire lag.

It's a custom brushless DC Electric motor & FET speed control system (by Castle Creations) with stacks of Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries. Looks to be Belt driven 4WD too. Electric is light-years beyond Nitro at this point with no chance of slowing down. This is the type of $hit we have to look forward to in 1:1

I kinda get the whole thing with Jazz in the 1st MB-movie as the original cartoon had actor Scatman Crothers playing the voice of Jazz, with extremely mild cultural references (name was Jazz and he blasted music I guess).

That's called the money-shift. Going from the top of 3rd into 4th, except you miss and hit 2nd. The over-rev of the transmissions mainshaft when you put it into gear like that blows the clutch apart. This happened to my best friends STI when he let his brother drive it ONCE. Derp.
