They could have at least used Lindsay Sterling if they wanted more mainstream acceptable classical/dubstep fusion.

That poor old holset. Hopefully it can be rebuilt and see life in a dsm or something.

Needs more camber in the back

Wastegates don’t woosh, blow off valves do. Wastegates, when not plumbed back into the exhaust, scream.

My Saab does this on the stock tune. Free flowing exhaust + turbo car = pop city

The new chevy v8’s get decent mileage if you try. The currrent corvette is epa rated at 30 mpg highway iirc

It won’t let me edit my previous post. Your tsx has the k24a2, right? Would you ever consider the k20a2 head+oil pump swap for the extra 1400 rpm? It’s a pretty serious build but the results are monstrous for no added weight.

I think turbo L15 would be fine, but I love to watch the talented people do crazy things to such a mild car.

I do too, but have you seen the v6 (j32a2) swap on the fitfreak forums?

It has more rear legroom than my 9000 Aero. Seats aren’t as comfortable, but a 6’2 person can sit behind me in the fit with my seat all the way back, and not hit their knees. It’s nuts.

It’s really my brother’s, not mine, but I did help a little with it whenever he asked. Transmission rebuild on an ‘88 Saab 900 Turbo. He’d shattered the 3rd gear and there were other damaged bits in there as well.

The triton. Some 4.6’s had the same issue. It’s a multipart spark plug that likes to shatter when removed.

Take them out of the car before removing the spring. Use compressors. Tighten them just until there isn’t pressure on the top nut. It’s really easy.

While you’re in there, install lowering springs. They tend not to need compressors to remove in the future.

DIY toe alignments really aren’t that bad once you get the hang of it. Get yourself some toe plates, figure out (and write down on the door jam) which way to turn the adjuster for toe out/in.

Modern i-vtec is pretty seamless though.

Love it. Not applicable to my Fit, which has surprisingly huge backseat leg room, but I’m bookmarking it for the future just in case.

Wide wheels make the fit fun. I put coilovers on mine, too but I wouldn’t recommend it for a kid-carrier.

I want a sonett so bad, so I hear you there. I sated my saab lust with a 9000 Aero though. I’m never gonna sell it.

Nope. Literally nobody else does.
