Merc won the constructors last year man. Red Bull winning the constructors would be the first time someone besides Merc won in nine years...I’m not sure what you’re on about.

If I had a new F-150 waiting on a badge to be delivered, I’d be willing to have a blank slapped on there to wait for one to be delivered.

I’m noticing conferences in general are all underperforming. I’ve been to a handful of industry related conferences and trade shows, and pretty much all of them are a ghost town.

As a Detroiter, fuck you.

Every automaker around: We’re going full electric

Ford: Nah. We’re gonna let our drivers waste gas from 50 ft away

I’m going to assume that the car showed around 60476km on the odo. 60476km= ~37788mi and 60448-37788 = 22668. Someone didn’t fix the odo display after it was taken to the US on a previous trip.

probably because i am a boring middle-aged man i didnt love the previous version’s styling even though it was a lot of fun to drive. Youre right about the more subtle styling here.

yeah the more subtle styling is a big win in my book

lol. you clearly have no idea what third-world really is. I’ve seen third world, and cali aint it... by all definitions, California is by far one of the most developed states in the nation, and will continue to be that way. take any example, income standards, economy, infrastructure, state funding surplus, and HDI...

> There will have to be some allowances regarding cost. I’m not poor, but I am retired, driving 1,000 miles/year and would not appreciate buying any new car, let alone one that fits the regs.

This slide show is like a ‘whose who’ list of normal states, with normal policies, and stable non-reactionary governance, that I wouldn’t be terrified to visit.

Nevermind how you feel about the subject - what an utter shite method of presenting the topic.

Yeah, I don’t remember seeing a full article about this, but we need more info. Either we’re missing some key info, Ford will appeal to overturn, or a whole Pandora’s box just got opened for every vehicle that didn’t meet rollover requirements that they weren’t subject to. And I may be wrong, but I’m pretty sure along

At a former employer we had layoffs in 2009. Usually there was some sort of “all-clear” noticed that let everyone know that all the people affected had been notified. We got that. Then a week later myself and a tech in my department were notified that we were affected, but that we had to stay for 6-months to get a

no, please do not copy Tesla, their designs are so boring.

I’d rather it go to the manufacturer who designed and built a desirable vehicle, than to a middle man who brings no value to the table.

Good driver training too. We don’t have that. Most states don’t even have car safety inspections.

The US has 300% more vehicle deaths per capita than Germany. How does Germany do that? Not with any of that BS you wrote about. They have strict licensing requirements and good transit infrastructure.

I’ll go finish the article in a second, but the breathalyzer part has some egregious errors in it, as a person that used to run a service center for these devices.
