Having lived in the Dallas area, there are tons of flat, wide, abandoned streets (many of them in empty industrial complexes or roads built prior to anything being built on them) around there to choose from where nary a soul except the racers themselves would be in any danger. Not that these guys aren’t idiots, but I…
The show is about a list, the List is a real thing, the top 5 people (at one time, since changed) got to race in this “Cash Days” against 5 texas boys. This is the real street racing. Discovery won’t even show up for this ( or even allowed). Thats why 1320 video was invited.
They didnt look like they were endangering anyone even if it is a “public” road.
“promotes a very stupid activity”
Hey Ryan, actually - as a resident of Midtown Detroit, who frequently finds himself Downtown on a Friday night, followed by somewhere in New Center a few hours later... I think this is a great step in the right direction! That’s 3 miles I don’t feel like walking!
Those rear bumper steps didn’t last long
Investors mad because company is spending money to devolop the future technology is exactly why I hate how much sway investors have. So many companies get screwed up because they are trying to make the investors happy who most are only looking for short term gains. They don’t care what might get you money 5 or 10…
Neutral: So, What About Ford?
You do know that a whole new Sync came out on the 2016's right? Have you used that one. I’ve found it to be pretty good
Yeah but how do you justify the valuation of someone like Tesla that’s worth more than GM already? You’re not going to see those huge gains, because the stock is already so inflated.
I disagree, I will much sooner be caught dead in a Focus than a Civic. The Civic is ugly AF and the Focus is actually a fantastic everyday vehicle.
I thought just being Kansas was reason enough.
Dude, making changes with supplier parts can take *years.* Simple shit changes. I doubt Tesla comprehends that. I think it’s also part of their push to bring many supplied parts in house, but that comes with a cost as well, especially for a young/small company.
I’m a structural engineer and when faced with exceedingly difficult tasks and clients I always remind them there’s ways to make any design work with enough money. I try to remind them that buildings don’t need a foundation if they continually pay a fleet of helicopters to hold it up.
(the original source says ‘0 km’ but I did the math and that roughly equals zero miles)
The late 70's early 80's were terrible for cars in general. The oil crises is what forced Ford to drop the 5.0 from the 81/82 Mustang GT. For those two years the 2.3T was the only performance version. The 4.2L V8 was available with an Automatic trans.
Whoa now, I understand these submissions but you leave the convertible Dakota out of this!!
