Obviously inspection and maintenance/cleaning are important (especially in the salt belt), but these vehicles seem to experience brake line failures at a much higher rate than other vehicles that operate in the same geographical region with the same salt. That reeks of bad design/engineering/material selection.

The rest of my work would have been removed from the invoice if they couldn't find a belt.

It’s a Ferrari. I’m pretty sure it’ll take care of it.

So for 80k you can buy yourself a Porsche Boxter but not a used 911 Turbo? Also listing a mundane Corvette? I am sure for 80k you can buy yourself the proper supercar beater and soon to become a collectible the C6 ZR1. Also that's probably the ugliest Ferrari ever made.

Get an even better deal and go for the V8 Vantage, get a slightly newer model with the more modern bits. Sure it's slower, but you're not setting nurburgring records, you're driving a GT.

I think classic Corvettes transform in to "exotics". And with a price limit of 80K and being able to go back to the 1960's to search for one, I'm sure he could have found SOMETHING better than a C7 Corvette to populate this list.

You pick a Boxster, which costs like $80K NEW, and pass up a 997 Turbo? There is something fishy going on here, Tavarish!

Someone please explain to me how you’ll gladly travel over 200 mph, but skip wearing nomex, HANS, and a full face helmet?! #stupid

Porsche 1/2 mile World Record? Is that a thing?

The rule is that teams are only allowed two built cars at the track on a race weekend not two built cars in existence at any one time.

this is the most important guide to consider when spectating at a rally

If he still has the factory bump stops in, likely he's good to go.

It would take a HELL of a lot more than that to break a coil.

Cannot defend his actions, but I am still not happy that a show I absolutley love is now changed forever. Not a good day!

Just horrible. The terror people must experience in a plane going awry must be an unbelievable experience. Bless all of them and their families.

No is talking shit about Earnhardt, merely pointing out bogus officiating and preferential treatment to the stars of Nascar. Earned (ha) or not, I believe every driver should be treated equally.

I for one will not be renewing my Jalopnik subscription

That side profile on the coupe. Wow. The car already looked good. But damn. Why cant Tesla make this?

the 308, the mondial (because who wants a ferrari that can haul kids!?) and the older 4xx models are generally the "least expensive" ferraris.

Its not a better car though. It has nice details and heritage. But the sum of the parts is far far far greater than the whole. Dry sump V8, tube frame chassis, sexy shape... still got washed thoroughly by a Honda. If all those parts can't make a decent car what's the point of having it?

It's a track. There's bound to be 42 of them.
