Eh, I just can’t stand how cocky Musk is. He thinks he knows better than the companies that have done this for 100+ years and it’s entertaining to watch him humbled a little bit.
BMW is having trouble convincing employees to buy pre-production models.
I used to work as an engineer in the automotive aftermarket. Talent pool is shallow and there is very little (if any) testing of product. Great if you want to coast and just collect a paycheck but I got burnt out quickly.
“This is already double the pace of 2017!” he wrote. “By the end of the year, I believe we will be producing vehicle sat least four times faster than last year.”
The problem with scheduling emails is sometimes things change between when you wrote it and when it gets sent. Sending an email criticizing someone for not delivering looks pretty stupid when the email is sent an hour after the person delivered.

The last gen was overpriced so they had to cut the MSRP by 15k to sell it. I’m guessing the original payback calculations were done at the inflated price and the program wasn’t profitable at the reduced MSRP.
The Viper debuted at a time when many of the competitors were soft. The Corvette is now a world class car and…
Last year, Maserati’s headquarters moved from New Jersey to the former Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The collection of about 400 cars and concepts that were housed at the museum, which was closed in 2012, were cleared out and stored in several places.
Wouldn’t be the first time for a Shelby badge on a SUV:
BMW makes M package SUVs. Chevy made an SS trailblazer at one point.
Even the lowly Caliber is amazing in SRT form.
