OMG! That’s hideous! Why Hyundai?? Why is it with Hyundai *every* other iteration is awful? This goes back nearly 20 years. They have one design language that is *really* attractive, followed by... God knows what. I should know, I’ve owned three Hyundais, but damn if they don’t keep shooting themselves in the foot.

Can I say it?

“Holy Grail” - cracks me up every time.

This is because intelligent dealerships know that the 18 year old kid with the 100,000 mile Audi will someday be making much more money who is dumb enough to buy an Audi with 100,000 miles will never make much money, but whatever he does make will end up in that dealership’s pocket if he treats him well enough.

Yet another David Tracy article where we get to see that he continues not to learn how to “adult”. For someone with all sorts of offroading experience, I’m not sure he’d even be welcome in our off road club.

I think you just proved Jason's point. Thank you.

You’re very efficiently proving his point. Congratulations!

3/4 of the tesla cultists would fervently defend Musk if he announced a new project involving coal-powered bitcoin gigamines to be constructed in newly cleared regions of the Amazon rainforest.

Lol at ease

“a good, sporty car with an unfortunate engine issue”

bwhahahaha, god that thing was a POS and I just got ANOTHER letter about ANOTHER class action lawsuit. Apparently the water pumps are plastic and are yet ANOTHER point of failure. I didn’t get to experience that one yet. My list: The intake failed for gods sake. How

Salty. The best thing I ever did financially was get rid of my VW sporty sedan for something completely different.

Neutral: Heck yeah, just did. My VW GTI ate its engine at a whopping 62K miles so I joined the CUV master race! Picked up a 2020 Acadia AT4 and boy howdy is she a beaut.

At least the interior on the Tahoe looks much better than the Silverado, but it's not like that is a high bar or anything.

Annnd.... Lincoln wins decidedly.

If it was just the tail lights and only in red (aka street legal) I would be so on board. But when every part of the car flashes technicolors that’s just gross

Tailgate - improvement

the influence of SUVs and therefore crossovers erupted into the rest of the world because America operates at its finest when it’s exporting its culture, whether it’s Schwarzenegger movies or Jordache jeans or big ol’ crossovers with automatic transmissions

Automotive journalists need to stop talking about “steering feel” in 3 row SUVs. Would you talk about towing capacity in reviewing a 911? No one buying in this segment is interested in steering feel.

I think that quote was referring to the Highlander.

We can play that game going back farther than that; but the Explorer Eddie Bauer was a pivot point in automotive history.
