I drive a 2013 Tahoe at work using the same stalk. I hate it.
Ask anyone who used to drive them while on duty and they’ll say you’re wrong...
Maybe. But then again the Taurus/3.7 combo is so much more reliable than the Crown Vic used to be.
We use the 3.7 model (non-Ecoboost, thanks Trudeau). They’re nice. Performance wise, they beat the Crown Vics in every dimension. Acceleration, top speed, fuel economy, handling, traction in our beautiful Maritime Canada winter. I hate the seating position. That weird bump on the driver side floorboard sucks. But it’s…
My old 2013 Taurus Interceptor was the same. The new 2015 I got as a replacement as the new style indicator arm.
Or Corvette badges on Chevy trucks.
Our detachment have 2 blue ones.

As usual, Jalopnik had to slide a mistake in a simple article.
Insiders comment on BlueOvalNews.com reported the design was based off the 1973 year model.
I think bumping the price did not help either. Basically, they just re-did the same mistakes that killed the 4th gen.
True, they sound good too.
Yup. I’ve got a fox with a build 302-based engine. Bought a ‘13 GT last year, tried everything to get a deep sound out of it. Best set-up I found was LTs, O/R X-pipe and 2011-2012 GT500 mufflers.
Nothing sounds better than a 4V 4.6
I stopped following the thread a few months ago when I bought my own truck (‘15 Lariat 5.0), but they all seem to go at the same mileage. I don’t know if FCA ever found the issue.
Reliability can’t be worse than the Ecodiesel. They have a good track record of randomly blowing up/seizing.
This guy will be the death of Chrysler.
