Thats what they said about Blu-ray. Maybe we'll get full support in Final Cut one day? The only way these technologies will be adopted is if someone makes the leap.

@carigis: The resolution of a film is far greater than HD (around 2K - 4K) Thus they would be down converting to a smaller resolution as well as removing film grain for optimum clarity. It still won't look as good as something shot now and released for Blu-Ray, but it will still be pretty sick.
