Not to me, they’ve never been as graphic hungry as us. There fan base is probably more likely to buy a game for good gameplay over realistic graphics compared to most of our population buying another recycled cod from year to year. Of course Nintendo is doing better over there then in the U.S.

It’s also kind of interesting that the single exception is actually on a last gen console..

Japan isn’t that much of a dudebro market like over here, not to mention mobile is twisting that shiv in console’s gut.
