A link to the ad would be really helpful, here, to form my own opinion.
sure it was, for two reasons:
Just be White and you'll be fine
Religion is a protected class. You can't be fired over your religious beliefs. Maybe you and your lawyer should look that up.
I bet he blames Obama for this too. Seriously though the SCOTUS may have opened a door on this "corporations are people too" and "people can have religion" therefore "a corporation might have a constitutional right of religion" with the Hobby Lobby decision. We'll see how this is handled...clearly it's a wrongful…
You can't fire someone because of their religious preference. He did not even ask to have the business run a certain way, he just requested to not be a part of an aspect that had no barring on the actual business.
If they were stupid enough to document the reason for his dismissal, these fundie twats did him an enormous favor, they got him out of that nightmare and will be paying him a very nice settlement in his wrongful termination suit as an added bonus.
Dealer: 'What is it going to take for me to get you in this car today?'

Ricky Gervais tackles the same material, but directs it at others, not himself. David Brent is a blowhard moron, who, unlike Louie, doesn't recognize that he's a…
You know, I've been following this pretty closely over the past few days, falling down the rabbit hole and reading a lot of intelligent, inspiring articles on the issue as a result, while also reading way too many horrible, vitriolic words from those I'd always considered "my people."
To replace the police departments around the country with heroes like George Zimmerman.
Accountability.
From Mark Steyn:
I can't speak for Deadspin, but my hope for this is that police begin to be held accountable for the frequency with which they kill U.S. citizens.
