I think that's why he excluded Crown Vics before 92. But what is really silly about that is he included 90 Lincolns and those have the 302. And I guess it was theoretically possible to get a 351 in a Town Car as part of a tow package in Canada. But I've never seen one.

Sales in the 80's through early 90's were pretty good. After that, well, you're right

The Pather platform had solid sales numbers and was hugely reliable. Then it was taken behind the woodshed...

An old solid platform that sells hundreds of thousands of units every year will never die?

No problem. It was all over the news here when those two were arrested awhile ago.

One is where the money goes and can only be accessed by a group of designated employees guarded by a cop. The second is a "test" tray that repair men, like this guy, have access to. They have these so meter

I'm not even from the Rochester area. I just noticed it passing through. Right place right time I suppose. Congrats on the awesome plate and project car

The age of the thing alone plus all those additions makes it a total crack pipe. "Ran when parked" type description doesn't cut it for something out of the 80's

Wipers were up on the other side. I like that this goofy Ford product is getting confused for so many things

My Mariner is actually higher because of taller tires. The wipers were up on the other side of the window

I wasn't even paying attention and my wife started pointing it out. She was like "isn't that the car site you always read?" And then it was the challenge of getting a good shot in between the wipers moving with the rain coming down

Mercury Mariner. I took this shot
