Honestly I think if they focus on the RPG aspects that can come from being able to customize the javelins themselves. They can do loot drops but offer up loot like internal actuators to increase agility, or defensive systems that you can tweak so you can turn your massive heavy javelins and make them lighter and agile…

Stranglehold? What stranglehold. Steam is #1 because it’s better than Microsoft Store, EA Origin, Ubisoft Uplay (actually Uplay is kind of cool but it’s lacking the bells and whistles that Steam has such as broadcasting games). Stranglehold implies that it has a monopoly, it doesn’t.

They need to focus on the “Monster Hunter” angle and exploration and stay as far away from the BS loot crap from Destiny.  Also need to focus on the ME3 multiplayer aspects they brought over.  And for the love of God pray they don’t ruin it further by trying to implement PvP.

This is more along the lines of the forced diversity that Marvel comics is so bad at. I remember when they made an X-Man gay all of the sudden, and then tried to shame anyone who complained about it.

I don’t know Jason. Your examples are sort of confirming what gamers are complaining about. You can tell a game is using the Unreal Engine vs Frostbite. One of the major gripes about the latest Bioware games using Frostbite has been based around the engine they are using.
