I think it has something to do with the music in those ads. The gorilla ad was memorable because it used REAL music (a Phil Collins song if I remember right) and the Fanta ad was memorable because it was catchy (but not in a good way, it was more annoying than anything else).

I’m rather enjoying watching Roger Goodell run the NFL straight into the ground. I don’t know why though, this whole thing is pretty sad and depressing. I guess everybody loves a good trainwreck.

That’s kind of what I thought. If I was forced to choose one, I’d much rather be a douche. It doesn’t sound as repulsive as “asshole.”
