Need a bigger hammer.

One of the very helpful parts of Merlin, is it will identify birds by listening to their song. Hear a bird singing, but don’t know what it is? Hit ‘Sound ID' and in a few seconds you have it.

It's cool seeing Jupiter that color.

They argue that larger-scale clinical trials will require creating engineered pigs...”

Estate sale, auctions and yard sales are also good places to get old cast iron. Although estate sales are usually a bit higher priced.

I looked at thrift store, flea markers and estate sales for a couple of years for a lid to match my almost 100 year old Griswold pan. I finally gave up, and bought one of these.

I remember when I was a kid, maybe 60 years ago, when I was fantasizing that we would one day be able to bring back stuff from the Moon or whatnot.

Would be nice if Adobe would fix the really annoying sticky hand tool bug in Photoshop instead of hyping AI so much. It’s been around for many months now, several updates, and hundreds of upset commenters from users on their community board.

I’m not crazy, I’ve just been in a very bad mood 40 years.

I don’t think you can totally get rid of a clock on the lock screen. But you can make it smaller. Long press on a clear spot on your home screen. Go to Wallpaper and Style. Now press Lock screen. Here you'll find all the controls for the clock.

I updated my Pixel 6 a few hours ago. Seems ok so far. I think the fingerprint reader seems to work better. It hasn't missed yet.

The way that European countries treat big tech corporations, I would not be surprised if some day they all just say “Ok. We’ve had enough. We’re pulling out. You make your own cell phone / OS / GPU / everything else. Bye.”

We still have cable TV. One box, with the DVR, is hardwired to the router. The other 2 are wifi connected. The one in our bedroom is literally 2 feet from the router, through a wall. It would constantly loose connection. There was already a small hole through the wall at the baseboard. So I ran an Ethernet cable

College of the Ozarks is quite a place. If you ever visit SW Missouri, pay it a visit. The Ralph Foster museum is there. Very cool museum.

Amen.

Me too. Unlike some photo contests, this one does not require exclusive rights to the winners images. So they are free to sell them however they wish.

I figured out why I’ve always called them cookie sheets. That’s what my Mom called them. Also, the only cook book I use is a Joy of Cooking she gave me in 1973. Most recipes in it say cookie sheet. Some just say sheet, and others say tin.

I must be old school. To me those are cookie sheets. Maybe a regional thing. But I’ve never heard the term sheet trays.
