@Navin R Johnson: Are you sure that's not just wire tapping? Though even in the case of wiretapping it's only illegal of neither party knows about it. I can recored every call I personally make legally.

@Tony Kaye: IA
@Rakkoon: You say "shouldn't" but paparazzi is a big business and there's no way they are getting permission for the photos they sell. I don't think it's actually illegal.
What if you're inside when you're taking pictures through you're ex-girlfriend's window?
@RoblesZX: Nice job!
@Marry me, Ayn Rand.: I guess I like 5 the best, even though I can't really tell what the intention was.
@Denver: for sure, usually there's at least a few that are a lot better.
I'm sorry to be critical, but this has got to be the worst set of submissions I've ever seen. (Actually a complement to the usual submissions.)
@crikerat: I guess Apple didn't discover it because it doesn't do anything with wireless data unless you follow the steps to set it up? I assume Apple does generic monitoring of network communications while testing each app to check for covert transmissions. I don't know what the feasibility of being able monitor…
@Hooray4Zoidberg: Yeah for realz. Imagine having to pay for something just because it benefits you and required someone else's effort to make it. It's robbery, I say!
Funny, but just jailbreak your phone and use PDANet or some such. Of course my EVO has a full blown router built in and delivers 4G to multiple devices for no extra charge.
Actually, a back pack holds more stuff and is perfectly comfortable. This would be more stable though, and I guess you could just put the laptop there and make the pack even lighter.
Here's what I would like that I think is possible: a 12" wide screen with plenty of power. A tweaked version of Windows 7 (would prefer XP, but I know that's not going to happen). Card reader, USB port, wifi, built in 4G, pressure pen input support as well as finger, 720p display, blue tooth, wireless N, 128GB SSD…
One thing I bet nobody will match is the elegance of the iPad hardware and software. No other tablet will be as thin with as big a screen, and no other tablet will have as integrated, intuitive and attractive UI. They'll have other stuff that is good, though. And they'll make attempts at shells that are nice, but they…
@Bucky Rodgers: I like the way you put that. Good analogy.
@Michael Scrip: I think Windows 7 has great potential on a tablet. The Windows tablet edition had awesome handwriting recognition. If they could enhance that, they'd have something significant to what iPad doesn't have, in addition to the exteral hardware support iPad doesn't have. And make a dedicated shell for…
I'm afraid those Android tablets are going to be very disappointing. Or, will it be possible to use Linux apps straight on them? In which case, I reverse my position.
@DPeezy: with a pair of binoculars are other tool, I think it could be pretty cool. But even so, there would many miles of pretty boring landscape.
I think they should put invisible doors on the bathrooms.
@crd22: leg room?
